The hotel features 14 updated guest rooms, a private cottage (Carriage House) and the historic Lobby Bar/Great Room where you can visit with people from all corners of the world. The courtyard garden and the Great Room provide the ideal setting for weddings, holiday parties, family reunions, and business meetings. Each guestroom has its own private bathroom and a luxurious antique bed. 01) Mark Twain's Study - Balcony
This charming room with antique furnishings and a historic 1908 Photograph of Mark Twain overlooks the center of the main street of Historic Virginia City. A pair of 1859 French doors lead to your personal balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine and the famous "100 Mile View". We have taken the liberty of adding to each room a private bathroom along with TV and Wi-Fi Come enjoy the charm of the 1850's with the amenities of today.

02) Clair's Room
This cheerful room retains the original nearly 2 foot thick brick walls from 1859. On the antique Queen size brass bed is a quilt to curl up under on a wintry evening. On a quiet night you can almost hear the tinny piano and dance hall girls singing and walking the halls.

03) Rosie's Room
Set into the original 1859 brick wall is an electric fireplace boasting a mantel made from an old timber used to hold the weight of Sun Mountain off the miners as they dug for silver. Antique furnishings include a Queen size Iron bed, a brass bed warmer, a carved Pine chair, an antique radio and a small pine washstand for the TV.

This quiet King room has a view of our garden and the 1850's Normandy Mansion on Millionaires Row. Rustic old Pine tables hold the antique lamp and a quaint old Pine cabinet hides the TV. Just outside your door is a stone patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. A short walk up the block you can tour the beautiful old Pipers Opera House.

05) Laura's Room - Garden View
This lovely west facing garden room is shaded by our 100 year old apricot tree. The antique furnishings include a Queen size iron bed, a hand painted chest of drawers and a beautiful oak armoire and chair. Open your wonderful old window and enjoy the cool afternoon breeze.

This spacious and soothing interior room has a tall antique brass Queen size bed. Enjoy the high ceilings with the "shaft" window for light in the day and "Edison Electric Light" by night. Use the antique step stool to climb into your comfy bed to watch TV, read a good book or connect to our high speed internet and catch up with the outside world.

This accessible friendly King room also enjoys Virginia City's famous "100 Mile View" through the old French doors leading to your balcony.
